Randalle Hunt Moore, ASLA

Principal

Co-owner of MPG, Randalle Hunt Moore manages office operations and human resources for the firm. As Project Manager she oversees a range of projects including neighborhood revitalization and community master planning, highway R.O.W. master planning, schoolyard ecosystem and site design. She has built partnerships between government and private enterprise while implementing energy conservation and waste reduction programs for the cities of New Iberia and Alexandria, as well as for fourteen parishes in Louisiana.

With project experience in environmental planning, floodplain management, waterfront revitalization, forest land management, and visual resource management, Randalle has a broad perspective on the environmental field. She has had numerous works published in professional journals and magazines.

Randalle continues to conduct environmental education workshops for elementary, secondary, and higher educational institutions and foundations. She enjoys designing and implementing outdoor classrooms and schoolyard ecosystems, and working with wildflower and native plant utilization design.

Randalle leads the firm in managing staff, client relations, marketing, awards and funding resources for planning efforts including the Hurricane Katrina/Rita Transitional Housing Initiatives. She also helped lead the Cal Poly – San Luis Obispo design charette for a New Orleans Community Rebuilding Plan. She is knowledgeable of affordable housing funding and development including a recent $1.5 million renovation of an historic warehouse into supported housing apartment for formerly homeless (SRO).

Randalle is married to Patrick Moore. They have one son and one daughter.
