The goal of the Lake Charles Development Action Plan Phase I (LDAP) is to provide officials a concrete, specific decision-making methodology on how to implement the city’s lakefront redesign plan. LDAP marries vision with practical considerations that must be understood fully in order to see the project through. Using data on existing conditions and the principles of sustainability, the landscape architect created an implementation strategy that has helped Lake Charles set clear priorities and take prudent action steps
