Pennzoil Products Company has for years been actively focused on interior facility improvements towards successful production. As the City of Shreveport has grown, the refinery has essentially become situated along the "center corridor" of the city. This highly visible location, in conjunction with the company's commitment to an improved employee and community environment, made the need for extensive landscape and environmental planning efforts imperative.

Pennzoil Products Company retained the services of Moore Planning Group to develop and implement an overall landscape master plan for the refinery. A comprehensive plan was designed that targets development of a corporate entry and neighborhood park, exterior street buffer developments, administration building improvements, and interior facility landscaping and environmental quality improvements.

Currently the firm has implemented a major corporate entry, two phases of the exterior street buffer development, two new gated security entries, and it has grassed all interior fire walls within the refinery for erosion and aesthetic protection.

Due to the commitment to the environment and development of this project by Pennzoil Products Company and Pennzoil, public enthusiasm and pride in the community has grown significantly. Moore Planning Group continues to work closely with Pennzoil in implementing this environmentally sensitive master plan.
