Patrick C. Moore, FASLA, APA

Patrick Moore, co-owner of Moore Planning Group, LLC (MPG), has led the firm as Managing Principal since 1982. He has guided projects of varied scope, ranging from land use / enhancement planning for entire regions, to design of small urban parks. Mr. Moore continues as consultant and advisor to commercial, institutional, and governmental clientele, and he manages teams of architects, engineers, public agencies, and related professionals on projects involving multiple public and private partners.

Patrick directs vision for the firm on many complex planning and design projects throughout the Southeastern United States. The majority of the projects under Patrick's direction have required ongoing involvement of the firm from initial design conception, to funding acquisition, through construction observation of the build project. MPG built a solid reputation during the 1980’s as a landscape architectural design oriented firm. Beginning in the 1990’s, the firm’s work evolved to comprehensive community master planning with strategic implementation, program management, and economic and resource development. Patrick maintains direct involvement with both clients and project team members in all areas of service provided by the firm.

Patrick serves as a guest lecturer at colleges, universities, and professional organizations throughout the United States. His involvement in the issues of professional practice led to the authorship of articles in various publications, including Landscape Architecture Magazine, Architectural Digest, Landscape Architect and Specifier News Magazine, National Association of Home Builders, Landscape Design Magazine, and various newspapers throughout Louisiana.

Mr. Moore is married to Randalle Hunt Moore. They have a son and a daughter.
